The Jamboree on the Air which is often refereed
to as JOTA is a Scouting tradition that allows all
Cubs, Boy Scouts and Venturers, aged 7 to 20, plus their
leaders to reach out to fellow Scouters around the world.
Using ham
radios and with the assistance of trained counselors our
Scouts can reach out to others around the globe.
Cub Scouts, Boys Scouts and Venturers have a fun time and
they can work on several advancement requirements. The Citizenship
in the World Merit Badge is one possibility. Plus, other
activities are being planned.
