Boy Scout Troop 94 in Mariposa,
CA has a rare night of Eagle Scout advancement!
On Tuesday evening, April 5th, three brothers
each passed his Eagle Board of Review and became an Eagle
Scout. The three Brothers are Jacob Gisler age 17, Alex Gisler
age 16, and Steven Gisler age 15, the sons of two very proud
parents, David and Tammi Gisler. The Gisler brothers are
fairly new to Troop 94 having moved to Mariposa from Turlock
where the brothers were in Troop 51 in El Capitan District.
The picture shows three brothers together
while holding three thick white binders containing the very
detailed reports of their individual Eagle Scout Leadership
Service Projects. Jacob's Eagle Service Project was the design,
permits, sight preparation and construction of an Information
Kiosk next to the Mariposa Catholic Church. Alex's Eagle
Service Project was the extensive sight preparation, construction
and set up of the Darrah School Play Grounds. Steven's Eagle
Service Project was the design, permits, sight preparation,
and construction of a pond with fountain and park benches
between buildings 5 and 6 at the Mariposa Middle School.
These three permanent gifts to our community inspired by
the leadership of these three brothers who led a number of
Boy Scouts and adult volunteers represents about 1,500 to
2,000 hours of volunteer service time. Troop 94 Scoutmaster
Paul Lockwood says, "Jacob, Alex and Steven, we thank
you."
