Our very popular Cub and Webelos Resident Camp will
offer six sessions this coming summer. Cub Scouts, their parents
and leaders will gather at Camp McConnell where they will create
many fun memories together. Under the direction of Donna Seibold,
Kelly Hazen and Laura Bryant, the program and activities will include
archery, BB guns, crafts, nature, swimming, competitions and more,
all based on our theme, Medieval Times. Wolf/Bear Resident Camp sessions
last for 3 days and 2 nights; Webelos Resident Camp sessions are
4 days and 3 nights in length. Camp is geared toward an introduction
to the outdoor program of the Boy Scouts of America.
Fees:
Webelos Sessions: $110 per Scout; $35 per adult
Wolf/Bear Sessions: $80 per Scout; $25 per adult
You will receive a discount of $10 per Scout if fees are paid
in full by May 1. A 50% deposit is required at registration, with
the balance due on May 31. Registrations will be accepted on a
first-come first-served basis. Space is limited for each session.
We require at least one adult for
every three boys attending
camp to provide adequate supervision.
Registration forms for Cubs, Webelos and adults will be available
at Roundtable, the Council Service Center and the council web site
(http://www.bsa-gyc.org/) in March.
We are currently looking for individuals interested in working as
cook for any or all of these sessions. Please contact Ron Schell
at the Council Service Center for more information 209-545-6320.
